Hello there! My name is Alicia and I am the owner of T&E Candles. 

 

I have a wonderful, supportive partner Bryce and two beautiful little girls Tillie & Elsie. Our business name was inspired by our little girls.

I had my own candle collection growing at home and loved my house smelling nice all the time. After birthing our babies, I developed mild postnatal depression and wanted to start a hobby. You'd think I am crazy starting a hobby with newborn twins but I needed something else to help keep me busy and have some "me time". Making candles was soothing for me and really helped my mental health. After a few months of constant research & testing, I decided to take the leap and turn my skills into a business. The thought of determining my own hours with two young babies just made sense to me. As time went on, my business continued to flourish and grow enabling me to introduce new products into my range.

 

Here at T&E Candles we create and hand make 100% Natural soy wax candles and melts, reed diffusers, car diffusers, room sprays & goats milk hand wash just for you. We are located in Bateau Bay on the Central Coast and our supplies come from small Australian businesses. We custom make all our orders with passion and love!

 

Our pure natural soy wax is not blended with any other elements besides soy, containing no other wax hardeners and no percentage of other waxes. Soy wax burns cleaner and it won't ruin your walls (bonus points). Soy candles are made naturally from soy wax, a processed form of soybean oil. Soy candles are also non toxic with a cleaner burn and are a more environmentally friendly choice for people and pets. Soy candles burn longer and have longer lasting scent filling your room with a beautiful aroma. This planet friendly substance doesn't emit any nasties into our atmosphere.
