CARE & USE INSTRUCTIONS
CANDLE CARE
-
The first burn is the most important. Do not extinguish your candle until it has reached a full melt pool and continue this practice for the life of the candle. This will take between 2-4 hours.
-
Do not burn your candle for longer than 4 hours each burn.
-
After your first burn please trim your wicks to 5mm. This will allow your candle to burn to its full potential. If you don't trim your wicks, you will get a big flame, soot and smoke. You will get a cleaner and slower burn by trimming your wicks.
-
Please extinguish your candle once you have 1cm of wax left.
-
Due to the type of wax used (soy wax) after your first burn you may not have a smooth reset. This is normal for soy wax and won't affect the smell or use of your candle.
REED DIFFUSER
-
Place the reed sticks in the oil and allow them to sit for one hour. By the end of the hour, you should start to notice the sticks slowly absorbing the oil.
-
Flip the reeds over to saturate the top part of the reeds that stick out above oil level. This helps to speed up the process of the oil soaking up from the bottom diffusing through the entire reed.
-
Place your reed diffuser somewhere suitable in your home. Place it where it won't be knocked and be sure to keep it away from electrical appliances too, in case of a spill.
-
If spilt, wipe immediately as this may stain surfaces.
CAR DIFFUSER
-
Remove plastic stopper or pierce a hole in it, replace wooden lid and turn upside down for 2-3 seconds. Be careful to not over saturate the lid. Reinsert stopper to prevent spills and simply screw the wooden lid back on. Repeat this once per week to refresh the scent throw.
Warning:
-
Do not ingest. If ingested call poisons hotline right away : 131 126
-
Keep out of reach from children and pets.
-
People with perfume sensitivities should take care with diffuser products.
-
Wipe spills immediately.
-
Do not place diffusers near furniture , electrical goods, polished, leather, painted & plastic surfaces, as spillage can cause damage or electrocution.
-
Keep away from heat and flames.
-
It is recommended to not hang diffusers on car mirrors as it can obscure vision while driving and leakage may occur when left in the heat/sun for long periods of time. T&E Candles does not take responsibility for any damage occurred if directions have not been followed.
